Right-angle PCB header of the MSTBA 2,5 type, with its opening, mating pins and solder pins. Width, length, height and pins from Phoenix Contact's data sheet. See the README.

Pluggable terminal block header

A right-angle PCB header for pluggable terminal blocks, of the Phoenix Contact MSTBA 2,5 type, 5.0 or 5.08 mm pitch, 2 to 16 positions. Pin 1 is at the origin, the row runs along +X, and the housing sits on the XY plane with its opening facing -Y. The solder pins go down through the board.

Source

Phoenix Contact data sheet, MSTBA 2,5/ 2-G-5,08 (1757242), a copy at https://static.chipdip.ru/lib/776/DOC031776447.pdf (Phoenix Contact's own site refuses automated downloads):

  • Dimensions (page 5): length 12, height 8.6 above the board, solder pins 3.5 long.
  • Dimensional drawing (page 6): width a + 7 (5.0 mm) or a + 7.08 (5.08 mm), and the solder pins 2 from the back face.

The data sheet is for the 2-position, 5.08 mm part. Its drawing gives the same housing for both pitches.

Proportions, for looks only: the pin section, the wall, and the mating pins' reach. The data sheet's side view doesn't dimension the reach, so the pins run to 1.5 mm short of the opening, where the plug's contacts meet them. The plug isn't part of this header. The housing is PA, modelled as pa6, green.

Vertical (MSTBVA) and flanged (GF) headers aren't here yet; see COVERAGE.md.

  1. 1.2.0 Latest Compare with 1.1.0

Vertical MSTBVA 2,5 headers at 5.08 mm. Right-angle parts are unchanged.

  2. 1.1.0 Compare with 1.0.0

MC 1,5 headers at 3.81 mm. MSTBA 2,5 parts are unchanged.
