Straight through-hole pin socket (female header), 2.54 mm pitch, with contact openings and tails. Pin 1 at the origin, row along +X. Height, width, length and tail from Samtec's SSW page. See the README.

Pin socket

A straight through-hole pin socket (female header), 2.54 mm pitch. Pin 1 is at the origin, the row runs along +X and the second row along +Y. The insulator's underside is on the XY plane.

Source

Samtec SSW/SSQ catalogue page (F-226), https://suddendocs.samtec.com/catalog_english/ssw_th.pdf: height 8.51, width 2.43 (one row) and 4.95 (two rows), length 2.54 x positions + 0.51, tail 4.93 (lead style -02), insertion depth up to 6.35.

Other sockets of the same pitch differ in height and tail, so check the one you buy.

Proportions, for looks only: the contact opening and tail sizes, which that page doesn't print.

Right-angle, surface-mount, 2.00, 1.27 and 1.00 mm sockets aren't here yet; see COVERAGE.md.
