PCB screw terminal block of the MKDS 1,5 type, with wire entries, screw openings and solder pins. Width, height, length and pins from Phoenix Contact's data sheet. See the README.

Screw terminal block

A PCB screw terminal block of the Phoenix Contact MKDS 1,5 type, 5.0 or 5.08 mm pitch, 2 to 16 positions. Pin 1 is at the origin, the row runs along +X, the housing sits on the XY plane with the wire entries facing -Y and the screws on top, and the solder pins go down through the board.

Phoenix Contact data sheet, PCB terminal block MKDS 1,5/ 2-5,08 (1715721), a copy at https://uploadcdn.oneyac.com/attachments/files/brand_pdf/phoenixcontact/A4/EA/MKDS152-508.pdf (Phoenix Contact's own site refuses automated downloads). The data sheet is for the 2-position, 5.08 mm part. Dimensions (page 4):

  • width a + pitch, where a is the distance between the end pins
  • installed height 13.8, length 9.8
  • solder pins 3.5 long and 0.9 x 0.9

The dimensional drawing (page 8) shows the pins 4.6 from the wire-entry face, and the same housing with 5 and 5.08 mm pitch.

Proportions, for looks only: the side profile's step and slope, and the wire entry and screw opening sizes. The screws and clamps aren't modelled. The housing is PA; the part uses pa6, green.

The 3.81 mm MKDS, the PT and MPT families and other makers' blocks aren't here yet; see COVERAGE.md.
