The key plate of the Adafruit MacroPad RP2040 kit (Adafruit product 5128): a 59.69 x 78.74 mm plate with 2.54 mm corner radii and a 3 x 4 grid of 14.224 mm square key switch cut-outs at 19.05 mm pitch. Measured from Adafruit's published 3D model (Adafruit_CAD_Parts, MIT, (c) Adafruit Industries); Adafruit publishes no dimensioned drawing of it. On the XY plane from z = 0, centred on the origin, the long side along Y. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Adafruit.

Adafruit MacroPad RP2040 key plate

The key plate of the Adafruit MacroPad RP2040 kit (Adafruit product 5128, https://www.adafruit.com/product/5128): a plate with rounded corners and a 3 × 4 grid of square key switch cut-outs. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Adafruit.

Geometry

On the XY plane from z = 0, centred on the origin, the long side along Y.

Feature mm
Plate 59.69 × 78.74 (2.35 × 3.1 in)
Thickness 1.57 (the model's; parameter)
Corner radius 2.54
Switch cut-outs 3 × 4, 14.224 square (0.56 in)
Cut-out pitch 19.05 (0.75 in) both ways, grid centred

Parameters

Parameter Meaning
thickness plate thickness, mm

No material is assigned (the model names none).

Sources

Adafruit publishes a 3D model of the plate but no dimensioned drawing. The geometry was measured from the published reference model below (its largest face gives the plate's plane, its extent across it the thickness; the outline of its mid-thickness section was read edge by edge), and the preset is checked against it: bounding box within 0.05 mm and volume within 2 %.

Distributed by step.parts as adafruit_5128_macropad_rp2040_keyplate.

Simplifications: three of the model's cut-outs have one corner rounded to 0.254 mm (a modelling artefact; 0.07 mm³ in all): all cut-outs are drawn square.
