Shielded flat-wire high-current SMD inductors for board layouts: ferrite body and the two flat-wire terminals, sized from Würth Elektronik WE-HCM datasheets. See the README.

Flat-wire inductor

Shielded flat-wire high-current SMD inductors in the Würth Elektronik WE-HCM sizes: the ferrite body and the two flat-wire terminals, which run down the end faces and under the body. The inductor is centred on the origin, sitting on the XY plane, with the terminals at the -Y and +Y ends, centred on X. Inductance doesn't change the outside of a size.

The terminal length is the length under the body, from the outside of the terminal. The model uses the middle of each range; where the drawing gives only a maximum or a "ref" value, it uses that value. The terminals stand out from the body ends by half the difference between the length over the terminals and the body length.

Proportions, for looks only: the terminals' 0.1 mm thickness under the body; how far up the end faces they run (0.55 of the height; the drawings show them running up the lower core half); and the line between the two core halves, drawn as a groove 0.2 mm high and 0.2 mm deep just above the terminals.

Size 1078 isn't here yet: no hosted copy of its datasheet was found. See COVERAGE.md.
