# Wire-wound power inductor Wire-wound shielded SMD power inductors in the Sunlord SWPA sizes: the body and the two terminals underneath. The inductor is centred on the origin, sitting on the XY plane, with the terminals on the -X and +X sides. Inductance doesn't change the outside. ## Source Sunlord, "Wire Wound SMD Power Inductors – SWPA Series", revised 2019/04/01: Shape and Dimensions table (page 2). The copy read is the one LCSC hosts, `https://atta.szlcsc.com/upload/public/pdf/source/20260722/2E1AF3DDC73E718387934E6B7AB7AF01.pdf`. The table gives, per size, A (along the terminals' spacing), B, the maximum height C, and the terminals' length D, width E and gap F, each nominal ± tolerance. The model uses the middle of each range, and the height is the maximum, so read it as an envelope. For SWPA5045S the nominal terminal widths and gap add up to 5.1 mm against a 5.0 mm body; the model stops the terminals at the body's side. **Proportions, for looks only:** the terminals' 0.1 mm thickness under the body. The datasheet draws three outlines (notched corners for most sizes, rounded for 5012 to 5045 and 8050 to 8065); the model is a plain block for all of them. Recommended land pattern sizes aren't modelled. Sunlord's MWSA molded inductors are the `molded-power-inductor` part. Other series aren't here yet; see `COVERAGE.md`.
