# Molded chip inductor

Power molded chip SMD inductors in the Würth Elektronik WE-PMCI sizes: the molded body and the two end terminals, which cover each end and wrap onto the top, bottom and sides. The inductor is centred on the origin, sitting on the XY plane, with its length along X and the terminals at the -X and +X ends. Inductance doesn't change the outside of a size.

The model uses the middle of each range; the height, drawn as a maximum only, is used as drawn.

**Proportions, for looks only:** the molded body between the terminals sits 0.03 mm inside them on the top, bottom and sides, so the terminals show.
